Fighting StyleEdit

When he is a child, Bat rarely fights as he prefers to play keep away with the series's dangerous villains. He relied on his trickery to protect his friends. As an adult, Bat has trained himself by mimicking Kenshiro's moves he saw during his youth. He is capable of performing some of his idol's pressure points.

Hisashi Koinuma said that Bat wasn't really going to use his improvised Hokuto techniques in the sequel, hinting that he would use another attack style instead. It was revealed that the older version of Bat supplements his martial arts with the use of weapons, mainly a sword and a crossbow.
