Axiom (アクシオム) is a role-playing game developed by Koei. It is given the subtitle "Vessel of Penance, Bait Hides the Hook".
Plot[]
Greenock, once known as the "Eternal City," was once a beautiful paradise until a catastrophic event separated it from the mainland. The dark priest Ulgullete returned, causing fear and a decade-long dark age. Elder Thomas gathered twenty young people to save Greenock from Ulgullete's terror.
Gameplay[]
The player must lead a party of six characters beneath Greenock's labyrinths and uncover their secrets. Characters have access to three different classes: warrior, mage, and scholar. Each one is given their own traits that influence their usage of certain commands. They can be equipped with weapons and armor bought at the shop.
Exploration involves first-person perspective, with caution due to traps. Players can attack or cast magic spells, with some spells only available in camp mode.
