Bokuzen Ujiie is one of the Samurai of the Mino Three, consisting of himself, Ittetsu Inaba and Morinari Andō. He used to be a retainer of the Saitō family up until its decline before joining the Oda clan.
The Nobunaga no Yabou 201X poll for 3-star officers puts him in eighty-seventh place.
Role in Games[]
Bokuzen's first appearance in Samurai Warriors had him and his companions featured prominently at Inabayama castle under the Saitō forces. His major role comes in Oichi's story where he and his friends tried to hinder the young girl from meeting with Nobunaga at Azuchi Castle twice. For the expansion, players are given a chance to get the Mino Three to join the Oda during the Inabayama siege with Hideyoshi.
Samurai Warriors 2 has Bokuzen already under the Oda forces. He and the other Mino trio members tend to reinforce the Oda at Anegawa. His final living appearance is at Mt. Usa. He is replaced by his son, Yukihiro, during later years in the game.
In Samurai Warriors 3, Bokuzen is once again featured at Inabayama fighting alongside Hanbei Takenaka and Mitsuhide Akechi. After the battles with the Azai, Bokuzen does not appear again.
Kessen III has him stay loyal to Tatsuoki Saitō throughout the game.
