Dynasty Warriors Advance (真・三國無双 Advance) is an installment in the Dynasty Warriors series released on the Game Boy Advance. It is a port of Dynasty Warriors 4 featuring the same cast, but with numerous gameplay differences as it was released when Dynasty Warriors 4 was still in development.
Gameplay[]
The portable version of Dynasty Warriors Advance has a reduced playable character roster, with 13 compared to the 42 in the fourth title. A new weapon system has been implemented, offering over a hundred weapon types, each with unique stat bonuses and abilities. The game also introduces a grid battlefield system with a timer for mini-battles, unit weaknesses, and a power-up system for gradual character strength.
