Souten Kōro Collaboration Set[]

Japan only set of costumes available for Edit Mode. Costumes are based on Cao Cao and Liu Bei's appearances in Souten Kōro, an anime based off the Three Kingdoms era. Serial codes were available on the first DVD volume.

Quest Pack 1[]

Combines the first and second PSP Quest Packs. Martial Contest 1 is PS3 Only.

  • Battle of Tong Gate: The feared army of Cao Cao has invaded Xi Liang. Assist Ma Chao, who stands facing his family's enemy, and stop the advance of Cao Caos army.
  • Defense of Nan Zhong: The allied armies of Wei, Wu and Shu have converged on Nan Zhong. Evade the schemes of their strategists Zhuge Liang, Sima Yi and Zhou Yu, and, together with the king of Nan Zhong, Meng Huo, face the allied forces.
  • Martial Contest 1: A contest to determine the strongest warrior in the Three Kingdoms. Your opponents in the first round will be the young men of valor, Zhao Yun, Guan Ping and Lu Xun.

Quest Pack 2[]

Combines the third and fourth PSP Quest Packs. Martial Contest 2 is PS3 Only.

  • Battle of Ru Xu Kou: Wu's Sun Quan stands at the strategic point, Ru Xu Kou. Avoid the Wu army's ambush and bring Victory to Wei.
  • Linked Chains Plan: The tyrannical Dong Zhuo and the raging Lu Bu. through royal personage, Diao Chan's Linked chains Plan, seize the opportunity to drive them apart and destroy them.
  • Martial Contest 2: A contest to determine the strongest warrior in the Three Kingdoms. Defeat the three men of valor, Ling Tong, Cao Pi and Zhang He.

Quest Pack 3[]

Combines the fifth and sixth PSP Quest Packs. Martial Contest 3 is PS3 Only.

  • Defense of Yi: Liu Bei of Shu has attacked the area in order to secure a main base. Assist the governor of Yi, Liu Zhang, and defeat the Shu forces.
  • Battle of Tong Gate: Assist the Wei army in its fight against Ma Chao, who has assembled a large force at Xi Liang. Han Sui, who is serving under Ma Chao, and Cao Cao are old acquaintances. Use this to gain victory.
  • Martial Contest 3: A contest to determine the strongest warrior in the Three Kingdoms. Defeat the four men of valor, Xiahou Dun, Guan Yu, Lu Meng and Sun Jian.

Quest Pack 4[]

Combines the seventh and eighth PSP Quest Packs. Wei Defense is PS3 Only.

  • Turban Fortress Defense: The allied armies of Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Liu Bei and Yuan Shao have converged on the Yellow Turban fortress. Take orders from the Yellow Turban leader, Zhang Jiao, and defend the fortress from the allies.
  • Battle of Jiang Ling: Zhou Yu has ordered that the strategic point, Jiang Ling, be taken back from the Wei army. Disrupt the coordination between Wei's famous generals, Xu Huang and Cao Ren, and seize victory.
  • Wei Defense: Sima Yi, genius of Wei, is plotting a rebellion. Take orders from Cao Cao and strike Sima Yi to put an end to his ambition.

First Update[]

Players can get a golden peach accessory for their characters to wear. The shop offers enhanced customization choices for three items.

Quest Set 1[]

Adds three optional quests into the game. The first quest is a collaboration with Famitsu surrounding Da Qiao. Players have to woo her by proving their strength. After clearing this quest, players will be rewarded with Da Qiao's angelic halo to alter their character's appearance. This quest returns in HD Version.

Meng Huo and the Nanman troops star in the second quest. An all out brawl for the title of the strongest warrior in the land acts as the focus for the last scenario.

More customization options are available in the shop.

Quest Set 2[]

Adds three optional quests into the game. The first quest is a collaboration with V Jump. Players will need to push their strengths past their limits to defeat a horde of tough enemies. After clearing this quest, players will be rewarded with a special costume that changes Sun Wukong's awakened form to Son Goku's outfit via Drangon Ball fame.

The two other quests are revamped tournament events from the first title. Players fight against an endless swarm of common soldiers in the first battle while the second lets players fight against one another.

500 Community Points are rewarded to players for downloading the update for this set. More customization options are available in the shop.

Quest Set 3[]

Adds three optional quests into the game. The first quest is a collaboration with Dengeki Playstation. Players are challenged to defeat various giant monsters in the game. After clearing this quest, players will be rewarded with a "cute item".

In the second quest, Cai Wenji is kidnapped by bandits. Cao Cao leads his men to rescue her, hoping she will be thankful for his help. However, she refuses to obey him. Jiang Wei takes center stage in the second quest as he tries to fulfill Zhuge Liang's dream of conquering Wei. His initial plan is to safely bring the troops back to Shu.

More customization options are available in the shop.

Second Update[]

Players obtain a blue version of Da Qiao's angelic halo for their characters to wear. Two quests from the first title return in the second game.

Quest Set 4[]

Adds two additional quests. The first scenario has players fight against a giant beast who spews a poisonous fog. A beautiful immortal maiden challenges the players by turning herself into a humongous bird in the second quest.

Players also gain two customizable items for their characters, Fairy Wings and Flying Mechanism.

Quest Set 5[]

Adds three optional quests into the game. The first quest is another collaboration with V Jump. Players face Shi Huangdi's many forms and the giant Black Dragon. Once this quest is cleared, a V themed item can become a part of the player's possession

Fu Xi and Nu Wa work together to challenge humanity in the second mission. In the third mission, players must protect three ally bases despite being limited in their abilities and facing tough enemies.

Players also gain a red version of Da Qiao's angelic halo to customize their character's appearance. More customization options are available in the shop.

Quest Set 6[]

Adds three optional quests into the game. The first quest is a collaboration with Dengeki Online. Players test their mettle against two elemental beasts, one of ice and the one surrounded in fire.

Players can then fight against San Zang and Sun Wukong in a Journey to the West themed event. The other quest features the fight to impress the Two Qiaos. Players fight against their future husbands as they struggle against the other traps at Wan Castle.

200 Community Points are rewarded to players for downloading the update for this set. Two quests from the first title return in this game. Players also gain a purple cherry blossom branch that can be used to customize their character's appearance. More customization options are available in the shop.

Quest Set 7[]

Adds two additional quests. The first scenario has players fight against an unknown beast of darkness who appears during thunderstorms. The second quest is designed to be extremely difficult and only possible to finish with the help of four people.

Players also gain two customizable items for their characters, a red version of Fairy Wings and red Giant Wings of a Foreign Bird.

Quest Set 8[]

Adds two additional quests. The first scenario has players fight against a giant silver beast that creates devastating whirlwinds. The second quest is a revamped version of Guan Yu's Thousand League Journey.

Players also gain two customizable items for their characters, a green version of Fairy Wings and red Flying Mechanism.

Quest Set 9[]

Adds two additional quests. The first scenario has players fight against a giant golden beast with two snake-like appendages. The second quest focuses on Xiang Yu's desire to reunite with Beauty Yu in order to truly find a world fit for them.

Players also gain two customizable items for their characters, a violet set of Giant Wings of a Foreign Bird and a golden version of Flying Mechanism.

Quest and Item Set 10[]

There is one more mission. The last battle with Shi Huangdi begins, where players have to fight against multiple copies of his different forms. Two items are introduced to modify the appearance of the player character. One is black Fairy Wings and the other is a green Flying Mechanism.

Quest and Item Set 11[]

One additional quest. The final showdown with Shi Huangdi concludes as players are challenged with fighting against several replicas of his many forms. One customizable item, a golden version of giant wings, is added to change the player character's appearance.

Scenario Set 01[]

Three scenarios for VS Mode.

  • The first scenario is a 1-vs-1 or 2-vs-2 stage. It allows players to have Lu Bu as an ally and includes a new fire pillar base.
  • Next up is a battle royal friendly stage for 4 players. They'll get attacked by tornadoes and dark swirls of energy throughout the battlefield.
  • Fog blocks the players' view of the mini-map in the 3 player friendly third map. The "Spy" skill can be offered to players in the Surprise Bases.

Scenario and Character Set 02[]

Unlocks guest character Kanetsugu Naoe into the playable cast. One new scenario is included for four players. It forces them to a timed race across a series of tornadoes and rolling boulders.

Scenario Set 03[]

Two scenarios. One is a single player scenario with a fixed team of Zhuge Liang, Jia Xu, and Sima Yi. The three masterminds band together to take Xiapi away from a powerful army of generals. The second story is a VS friendly one with a special set of falling boulders, support, and seal bases littered across the map.

Unlocks guest character Ayane into the playable cast. One new scenario is included for 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 fights. It is a stage filled with ice and wild animal bases.

The Chaos at Puyang is Cao Pi's order for the Wei army to attack bandits and the Wu forces. Also included is a new Mt. Ding Jun battle which has the player fight against Wu and their elite generals.

Xtreme Stage Pack 2[]

Combines Japanese packs 3 and 4. Four original scenarios. Players control the Shu army as they defend Liu Bei from Sima Yi's invasion in the Melee at Mt. Xingshi. The Siege of Lingdao turns the table, allowing them to defeat a flood of Shu officers. Another scenario has Sima Yi and his sons requesting for aid in protecting Luo Castle from the Wu forces. The Xtreme Family Feud has Sima Zhao be the star of his own map. He needs to prevail against anyone who comes his way.

Xtreme Stage Pack 3[]

Combines Japanese packs 5 and 6. Four original scenarios. One has players side with Yuan Shao to defeat suppression forces led by Cao Cao, Sun Jian, and Liu Bei at Nanjun. The other is a scenario at Yangping Gate which pits the players against the Nanman's invasion. They are joined by other forces for the battle. The third stage stars Zhou Yu as he fights to outwit his foes and lead his allies to victory at Dongxing. Players help Sima Yi and his sons attack Zhuge Liang at Tong Gate in the final scenario.

Combines Japanese packs 7 and 8. Four original scenarios. The Sima family test their wits against one another at Hefei in the first scenario, and a collection of young warriors seek to outdo their elders. A reverse scenario is set in the second stage, which has players side with the fathers against their own children. The last two original scenarios focus more on Dong Zhuo. Players can first help him create his paradise by defeating various women at Liang Province. They can then avenge the ladies by striking Dong Zhuo down in the next scenario.

Pre-Order Costumes[]

Romance of the Three Kingdoms Costumes
Those who pre-order the game will receive downloadable serial codes for Zhao Yun and Sun Shangxiang based on their appearances in Sangokushi 12. These will eventually be released on the Japanese PSN for 100 yen per costume. In North America, these are part of a pre-order bonus offered at GameStop.

Dynasty Warriors Costumes
Costumes based on character appearances from Dynasty Warriors. Similar to the Lawson costume, each costume is available if consumers purchase the game at a specific Japanese store. These were eventually released on the Japanese PSN for 100 yen per costume. The GameStop pre-order bonus also includes Lu Xun and Guan Yu's outfits. These outfits are also handed out at EB Games in Australia or New Zealand, and are offered for free on the EU PSN Store [1], and for $2.99 all together in NA as Old Costume Pack #4.
