Gong Du (onyomi: Kyou To), also called Gong Dou, is a former bandit from the Changsha area who fought for Ou Xing. After Ou Xing was defeated, dethroned, and killed by Sun Jian, he joined up with the Yellow Turbans, and joined Guan Hai and He Yi during the rebellion in Yan and Xu provinces and later, along with Liu Pi, fought alongside Liu Bei shortly after the rebellion was quelled. He was later shot with an arrow and killed at Runan by Xiahou Yuan.

Role in Games[]

Gong Du appears in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series as a Yellow Turban officer with moderate war and leadership stats, but poor stats outside of those. He is affiliated with the Yellow Turbans initially and will be a free officer in scenarios after the conclusion of the Yellow Turban Rebellion.

In the fourteenth instalment, his character traits allow for him to transport supplies at a faster speed than usual (Transporter), but he will also negatively impact the public order of any areas he is present on (Bandit). Like most Yellow Turbans, he only has access to the Snake formation making him unsuitable for battle outside forests or mountains. His administrative policy improves the rate public order increases for the affiliated forces territories (Promote Area Lv 03). Gong Du is also present in an event where he alongside Liu Pi, Liao Hua and Zhou Cang will join Liu Bei's army should the latter's army control only Runan.
