Kiyohide Nakagawa is one of the many lords who tried to become dependent against Nobunaga. Once he faced the Oda army, however, he decided to defect to their cause and became one of Hideyoshi's and Katsumatsu Ikeda's subordinates. While he served as the second wave of defense during Shizugatake, he died fighting against Morimasa Sakuma's onslaught. Hideyoshi famously mourned his death and gave his sentiments to Kiyohide's siblings.
Role in GamesEdit
In Samurai Warriors 2, he is put in the spotlight at Shizugatake. He defends the garrison in front of the Hashiba main camp and Morimasa will charge for him from the central garrison. If Morimasa reaches him, Kiyohide will state that he is injured and will retreat, triggering Shogen Yamaji's defection. Likewise, even if Morimasa doesn't reach Kiyohide, Shogen will still defect. He appears as a generic in a handful of campaigns such as Shikoku and Kyushu.
In Samurai Warriors 3, he is not as important as Shizugatake and appears as a reinforcement along with Tsuneoki at Yamazaki and a general in a small portion of various Oda and Hashiba battles.
