Masatoyo Naitō is one of Shingen's Four Guardian Kings. Praised as an inseparable entity for his lord's conquests, he reportedly committed no error while on duty. He is among the many famous Takeda vassals who loses his life during the Battle of Nagashino.
Role in GamesEdit
For the Samurai Warriors series, Masatoyo is usually beside Shingen in earlier Takeda campaigns and present at Nagashino under Katsuyori's command. During Yukimura's scenario in the first game, he may be saved by the player. If the mission to save him is incomplete, he perishes in battle. In Samurai Warriors 3, he tries to go around the center but is stopped and killed by Kanbei and others.
In Musou OROCHI Z, Masatoyo acts as Shingen's replacement officer when players assume the latter's role in one of the original dream stages.
