Masumi Asano (浅野 真澄, Asano Masumi, born August 25, 1977 in Noshiro, Akita Prefecture) is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with Aoni Production. She has two brothers in her family. She moved to Saitama for a time and graduated from Kokugakuin University with a degree in Japanese literature. Photography and prose are among her hobbies. Her favorite motto is "There is no rain that never ceases". Fans often call Asano by her nickname "Masumin".

Originally, Asano had no interest in the voice acting industry until she accompanied a friend to an audition during their third school year. After being granted a scholarship to Yoyogi Animation Academy, she took vocal lessons on the side before graduating and officially began her debut in 1999. Aside from voice acting, Asano was actively involved in various singing groups and became one of the most popular radio hosts in Japan. She was also nominated for best personality in the 2007 Seiyū Awards. As a writer she created several essays, lyrics, and children's stories.

Due to her flexible voice range, Asano has portrayed a variety of character roles throughout her career. Some of her more memorable roles include Izumi Sawatari in He Is My Master, Najimi Osana in Dōjin Work, and Chloe Valens in Tales of Legendia.

During the Denjin☆Gacha! Toukiden Kiwami countdown live broadcast, she took part in the Kazenui hunt. Her avatar assumed her last name.
