Mishi

Mishi (糜氏, onyomi: Bishi) is Koei's original nickname for Lady Mi (糜夫人, onyomi: Bifujin), one of Liu Bei's wives. She was also the sister of Mi Zhu and Mi Fang.

Role in Games

Though unnamed, Lady Mi appears in Dynasty Warriors 4 during a cutscene at Chang Ban. She entrusts Liu Chan to Zhao Yun before perishing. She is also seen in Guan Yu's Escape if the player fails to protect the carriage.

Mishi makes her playable debut in the eleventh title of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Like most female officers, she is more inclined to perform well in tasks involving intellect or politics. In the early scenarios, when the player chooses to play as Liu Bei, he can get a special marriage event between Liu Bei and Mishi.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms

The novel has Lady Mi together with Liu Shan instead of his mother Lady Gan. The two were separated from the rest of Liu Bei's family during the confusion at Changban. When Zhao Yun found them, Lady Mi's thigh was too injured to move. Not willing to be a burden, she entrusted the infant to their savior before throwing herself down a nearby well. Zhao Yun covered the well and turned it into a makeshift grave before departing.
