Nagayori Murai is an officer who once served under Toshiie during Nobunaga's lifetime, a retainer known to have a close, brotherly bond with his lord. He was known to have the nickname "Bearded Lord" with many people claiming that he had impressive facial hair. Historians argue that this name is a far-fetched parallel to Liu Bei and Guan Yu's relationship from Romance of the Three Kingdoms invented during modern times and is not an actual historical nickname.

Role in GamesEdit

In Samurai Warriors 2, Nagayori is a general who fights for Katsuie at Shizugatake. He guards the main camp and must be taken out for the gates to open. Samurai Warriors 3 has him and Katsumitsu Fuwa surround and trap Hidenaga Hashiba on all sides.
