Pan Zhang (onyomi: Han Shō) was a violent officer known for his greed and gaudy fashion, said to have killed wealthy officials or soldiers to confiscate their wealth for his own. Yet he was never tried for his crimes due to his valorous service in the wars. His highest rank was the Commander of the Right. Romance of the Three Kingdoms twists his death to be an act of supernatural vengeance from Guan Yu's ghost.
Roles in Games
During Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends, Pan Zhang will appear as one of the ambush troops at Mai Castle and appears right outside the castle.
Pan Zhang's dialogue in Wu's divergent stage at Hefei in Dynasty Warriors 8 is dependent on Lu Su's survival after the battle at Jing Province.
In Warriors Orochi 3, Pan Zhang serves as Lu Meng's substitute officer when players include the latter in their attack team.
