Musou Battlefields (無双の戦場, Musou no Senjō) is a feature introduced in Warriors Orochi 3. It allows the customization of already cleared stages by editing the allied officers, enemy officers, and even the lines characters speak in the stages. It is expanded upon in the Ultimate expansion.
Options[]
First, the player is required to select any battlefield cleared in Story Mode. Afterwards, they will encounter a list of the following options below. Note that edit points are only used for ports prior to Ultimate.
Change Lines[]
Players can alter the script by replacing lines from another officer, and new lines can be added in Ultimate.
Change Officers[]
The game allows players to customize the appearance of both friendly and enemy officers by changing their models, despite their names remaining the same. The original version allowed up to 5 characters, but the "Ultimate" version allows players to create clones of officers.
Change Music[]
Changes the music of the stage. More tracks are unlocked by clearing battles in Story Mode.
Add Elements[]
Changes can be made to different parts of the battle, like sound effects, AI, morale, and troop types for each side. Players can also adjust time limits as they like. The number of edit points used depends on how big the change is. More edit points are unlocked as players advance in Story Mode.
