Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Edit
Sun Jing was the younger brother of Sun Jian. He is first mentioned in chapter 7, where he admonishes his sibling for wanting to war against Liu Biao. The advice is ignored, and Sun Jian would later go on to perish for his recklessness. He appears once again in chapter 15, assisting Sun Ce in defeating Wang Lang during the conquest of Wu.
When Sun Ce passes away in chapter 29, the funeral was handled by Sun Jing. His presence is not mentioned from then on, but his second son, Sun Jiao, contends to lead the Wu army with Lu Meng to take Jing province back from Guan Yu. Likewise, his great-grandson Sun Jun is introduced in chapter 108.
