Cao Pi-Cao Rui Fatherhood[]
Yuan Xi was away in You province for several years, and Lady Zhen was stuck in Ye. 204 Cao Cao surrounded Ye and had it under siege. Yuan Xi isn't a ninja, he couldn't slip into the city, sleep with his wife, and then slip away.
These are facts consistent with Zizhi Tongjian and with Chen Shou's records on the placement of these individuals. The speculation of Yuan Xi being Cao Rui's father comes from Hanjin Chun Qiu, which is known to be innaccurate and made all sorts of things up.
More to it, Cao Pi would know this. While it would be partly acceptable to marry a women who had been beeded by her husband, it would be simply unacceptable to marry a woman who potentially had a child with someone else other than her husband.
We do know that Cao Pi met her, married her, bed her, and had a baby with her. 8 months isn't some shocking number that speaks of scandal, plenty of births, especially in those times when medical knowledge wasn't all that it is today.

Was Cao Pi a perfectionist?[]
I won't mention any names here (cause I'm sure you know who I got it from). But I've heard that Cao Pi was actually a bit of a perfectionist during his youth; if he had one sword mastered, he'd dual wield. If he fired a bow well with his right arm, then he'd master his left arm right afterward. You think that's the main basis for his dual weaponry in general?
