Wang Fu (onyomi: Ō Ho) is an officer who served Liu Bei after the latter conquered Shu. He follows his lord in his campaigns against Wu, but was among the many who fell in the disastrous defeat. Romance of the Three Kingdoms portrays Wang Fu as Guan Yu's strategist in Jingzhou.
Role in GamesEdit
Wang Fu's only appearance in Dynasty Warriors 4 is at Mai Castle fighting under the last of the Shu armies under Guan Yu's care.
In Dynasty Warriors 8, Wang Fu first appears among Liu Zhang's officials at Chengdu. In Shu's camp at Fan Castle, Wang Fu's dialogue is dependent on whether or not the peasants at the Yellow Turban Rebellion were rescued.
Romance of the Three KingdomsEdit
Romance of the Three Kingdoms dubs him the Grand Marshal of Peace who served Guan Yu. When Guan Yu left to attack Xiangyang, Wang Fu was uneasy about the Jing's defense towers and advised him against it, or to at least allow Zhao Lei to guard the province instead of Pan Jun. Both counsels were left unheeded. After Guan Yu's retreat from Fancheng, Wang Fu recommended for his lord to remain in Maicheng and sent requests for reinforcements from Meng Da and Liu Feng at Shangyong. He defended Maicheng after Guan Yu departure and committed suicide upon hearing of his lord's death.
