Weapon Fusion is a feature of the Warriors Orochi series that allows players to personalize a character's weapon with attributes using growth points earned from completing stages. Each weapon can only hold up to eight attributes at a time. Similar to the elemental system used in Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, these abilities are activated by performing charge attacks against opponents.

Weapon Attributes

Weapon Attributes require growth points in order to be attached to a particular weapon. Said points can also be used to create empty slots or increase base attack power. Note that most of these elements only work on charge attacks, including certain Enhanced Strikes performed by a Technique-type.

Brave 勇猛 500 Growth Points Increases damage against enemy officers.
Rage 背水 400 Growth Points Increases damage in inverse proportion to the user's life.
Air 破天 600 Growth Points Increases damage against airborne enemies.
Multi 分身 400 Growth Points Produces dopplegangers to join attack.
Agility 神速 300 Growth Points Increases attack speed.
Range 旋風 400 Growth Points Increases attack range.

Upgrade Skills

Upgrade Skills are additional attributes made by fusing certain attributes and materials together. Up to three can be attached to a single weapon.

Normal Abilities can be stacked up to +10 to further enhance their effects.

Ice Occasionally freezes enemy, rendering them unable to move.
Bolt Inflicts damage commensurate with max enemy life gauge and stuns them.

Slay May defeat foes with one blow and heavily damage enemy officers.
Absorption 吸生 Absorbs enemy life when inflicting damage.
Osmosis 吸活 Absorbs enemy Musou when inflicting damage.

Reach 伸長 Increases attack range.
Chronos 連鎖 Increases the time between attacks before a combo is terminated.
Brawn 地撃 Increases damage inflicted by normal attacks.

Destruction 乱撃 Increases damage inflicted by Musou Attacks.
Cavalier 騎撃 Increases damage inflicted by mounted attacks.
Frenzy 極撃 Increases damage inflicted by R1 Type Actions.

Blast 波撃 Increases damage inflicted with projectile and shockwave attacks.

Gold Abilities

Gold Abilities are rare and hard to find, but they do give weapons powerful skills that cannot be quantified.

Echo 誘爆 Successful attacks on foes causes them to radiate small explosions.
Typhoon 旋風 Triggers whirlwinds with normal attacks.
Confluence 収斂 True Triple Attack gauge fills more quickly when attacking.
Multi 分身 Produces doubles, and makes them attack the enemy.
Verity 天活 Always perform True Musou regardless of health condition.
Aggression * 進撃 Gives a free 30-seconds double attack powerup for each 200-hit combo.
Bastion * 堅甲 Gives a free 30-seconds double defense powerup for each 200-hit combo.
Alacrity * 快癒 Gives a 30-seconds double speed powerup for each 500-hit combo.
Bombast * 気炎 Gives a 10-seconds unlimited Musou powerup for each 500-hit combo.
Potency * 重崩 Decreases attack speed, but enables charge attacks to break enemy's guard.
Precision * 重砕 Decreases overall attack speed, but enables charge attacks to do critical damage.
Dominance * 猛崩 Doubles damage taken, but enables charge attacks to break enemy's guard.
Rigor * 猛砕 Doubles damage taken, but enables charge attacks to do critical damage.
Procurement * 調達 Doubles the number of items dropped by enemies.
Storm * 裂風 Increases chances of triggering assist attacks.
Wrath * 天攻 Imbues all attacks with equipped elemental attributes when life gauge is full.
Grace * 天佑 Imbues all attacks with equipped elemental attributes when life gauge becomes less than half.
