Kure-corda10thmessage

Kiniro no Corda ten year anniversary congratulatory message.

Yuki Kure (呉 由姫, Kure Yuki, born December 4 in the Chiba Prefecture) is a Japanese comic artist. In 1999, she made her debut as a newcomer with the story Chijō Yori Eien ni which won accolades at the 24th Hakusensha Athena Newcomers' Awards and was published in LaLa magazine the next year. Her hobbies include watching soccer games and collecting small merchandises.

An interview between Hakusensha and Kure revealed the latter's difficulty in drawing Len Tsukimori during her time as the character designer of Kiniro no Corda. By contrast, she found it quite easy to draw Kazuki Hihara and young female characters. In this same interview, Kure also revealed her previous experience in playing the piano which she felt was refreshing. She also expressed a desire to play other musical instruments like the cello, bassoon and tuba. When drawing manga, she often finds inspiration in other LaLa manga artists such as Reiko Shimizu, Natsumi Itsuki and Kyōko Hikawa.
