Zhang Pu (onyomi: Chō Fu) is a fictional officer of Wei, who fought the Wu forces under Cao Xiu at Shiting.

Role in GamesEdit

Zhang Pu generally appears in the Battle of Shiting in Dynasty Warriors. In the third title at You Ting, he is one of Wei's frontline officers in the western part of the map and holds Xiao Qiao's advance, while in Dynasty Warriors 4, he serves directly under Cao Xiu and follows him into the ambush at Wu's main camp. In Dynasty Warriors 6, he serves as a Wei officer at Shi Ting and Han Zhong and in Dynasty Warriors 8, he again only serves as a minor officer at Shiting.

Romance of the Three KingdomsEdit

Zhang Pu appears in chapter 96 as a subordinate of Cao Xiu. During the engagement with the Wu forces, Zhang Pu rode out and challenged Xu Sheng to a duel. After a few bouts, Zhang Pu realized that he was no match for his adversary and withdrew. He told Cao Xiu about Xu Sheng's strength and Cao Xiu planned a surprise attack. Zhang Pu was sent with 20,000 men to hide south of Shiting and wait for the enemy. Later at night, Zhang Pu saw some troops approaching their position and thought that they were his allies. He went out to greet them, but the troops were led by Wu general Zhu Huan, who killed Zhang Pu at once and caused the Wei soldiers to flee.
